David McClure

Digital Humanities Research Developer, Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Research, Stanford University Libraries

David is a software engineer at the Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Research at Stanford University. Before moving to the west coast, David spent three years at the Scholars’ Lab, where he was the lead developer of Neatline, a visual annotation framework that makes it easy to tell stories about maps, photographs, paintings, and documents. Between Virginia and Stanford, David worked with the Open Syllabus Project, where we extracted information about dates, locations, and citation networks from a corpus of 1M+ college syllabi scraped off the web.
