Richard Urban

Assistant Professor, Florida State University  

Richard Urban currently serves in the College of Communication & Information, School of Library and Information Studies at Florida State University. Prior to arriving at FSU, he was a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He served as a graduate research assistant for the IMLS Digital Collections and Content project and as project assistant for Metadata for You & Me: A Training Program for Shareable Metadata. Richard also served as the Operations Coordinator for the Collaborative Digitization Program (aka Colorado Digitization Project) assisting libraries, archives, museums and other cultural heritage organizations in providing online access to their collections.
