Students should enter the discount code &#8220;STUDENT&#8221; (case-sensitive) to receive the student discount. Sponsored student scholars will receive a special discount code for use in their confirmed\/approved scholarship notification email. This special code should also be used in the discount code field\u00a0<strong>PRIOR<\/strong>\u00a0to beginning your registration.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><p>There are no registration substitutions allowed.<\/p>\n<p>Refunds are permitted until December 1, 2012. Refunds will be the amount of your registration type less an administrative fee of $150. In the case of campus closure, pro-rated refunds will be given for the days that the campus is officially closed. Refunds will not be issued due to travel delays or closures. All weather closing related communications will be sent to your official email, posted to our website, and tweeted from the official DHWI twitter account.<\/p>\n<\/div><style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-4 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-three\" style=\"margin-top:40px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:20px;margin-left:0px;\"><h3 class=\"title-heading-left\" style=\"margin:0;\">Scholarships<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><p>There are a limited number of sponsored student scholarships for full-time enrolled students available for DHWI 2013 through the generosity of this year&#8217;s DHWI Instructors and the Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities.<\/p>\n<p>You MUST apply for (and be notified that you have received) a scholarship prior to beginning registration. You will be provided with a registration code to complete registration to receive the scholarship discount of $250 in addition to the student rate discount (-$450). Your total course cost will then be $250.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are considered on a first-come, first-served rolling basis until all scholarship funds have been exhausted. Applications will be judged on need, merit, and course availability at the time of evaluation.<\/p>\n<p>We regret that we are unable to offer tuition reimbursements to participants who register before receiving the results of their scholarship application.<\/p>\n<p>Please apply using the Sponsored Student Scholarship form\u00a0<strong>PRIOR<\/strong>\u00a0to completing your registration.<\/p>\n<\/div><style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-5 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-three\" style=\"margin-top:40px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:20px;margin-left:0px;\"><h3 class=\"title-heading-left\" style=\"margin:0;\">Accommodations<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-5\"><p>DHWI has reserved a block of rooms at the Marriott Inn and Conference Center located on the University of Maryland campus, a ten minute walk to central campus where courses will be held. A LEED-certified green hotel, the Marriott Inn provides 300-thread-count linens, flat screen televisions, and complementary wireless internet access.<\/p>\n<p>Hotel rooms have been reserved are available at our discounted group rate of <strong>$189.00 per night<\/strong> from January 06, 2013 to January 12, 2013.
