During day, you should anticipate a 10 minute walk between our various locations. Airport customers can board Indianapolis Public Transportation at the Airport\u2019s Ground Transportation Center, Zone 6. Approximate travel time between downtown and the Airport is 45 minutes with a cost of $1.75 (exact fare needed). Follow the instructions below once you get to campus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From the Northeast\/East (Columbus, OH)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Take I-465 South on the east side of town to I-70 West. As you come into town take the I-65 North exit to Chicago, IL (right lane, near Meridian St.), then move into the far Left Lane and take Exit #114 to West Street\/Martin Luther King Blvd. Take West Street South through the 10th St., 9th St., St. Clair St. and Indiana Avenue intersections, and turn Right onto Michigan St. (one-way West). Michigan St, will feature double occupancy rooms with on-suite bath. The Tower Apartments are a 5 minute walk to the classroom buildings and a 10-15 minute walk to special event locations.<\/p>\n<p>Tower furnishings include:\u00a0twin-size bed, desk, chair, dresser.<\/p>\n<p>All dormitory rooms are non-smoking. You will be provided with clean linens to make your own bed, access to the Tower fitness room, as well as breakfast and lunch in our campus dining hall. Parking passes are an additional $45 per car for the week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dormitory Location<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tower Hall (corner of University Blvd and Michigan). The registration desk is located on the first floor of the building in the central lobby. Dormitory desk support hours (including registration) will be:<\/p>\n<p><em>Monday \u2013 Friday:<\/em> 8:00 am \u2013 11:00pm<br \/>\n<em>Saturday &amp; Sunday:<\/em> 9:00 am \u2013 11:00 pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Check In<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will proceed to the registration desk in Tower Hall. If the desk is not occupied,\u00a0 information on who to call when you arrive will be waiting for you. The RA on duty will meet you at the desk to get you into your dorm room. Please note the building doors lock at 9 pm thus entrance after 9 pm is by calling for access. The phone number will be posted on the front doors at Michigan Avenue and University Avenue. You will be met at those same doors at the corner of Michigan Avenue and University Avenue to be let into the building for registration if you are arriving outside of the check-in hours listed above.<\/p>\n<p>When you check in you will be given access to your assigned room, and access to the Tower fitness room with a small set of cardio machines and free weights.<\/p>\n<p>Each room will have a linen package that includes: 1 blanket, 1 flat sheet, 1 fitted sheet, 1 pillow, 1 pillow case, 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, 1 bathmat. Shower curtain and toilet paper in each bathroom will be provided. The linen packets will be placed in each room prior to Check-In. Conference participants will make their own beds. We encourage you to bring an extra blanket or your own pillow for added comfort and familiarity.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that no toiletries such as soap, shampoo, and conditioner are not included. We also encourage you to bring a plastic glass or water bottle as well as any other accessories you might need for your stay.<\/p>\n<p>Each room has individually controlled air-conditioning units.<\/p>\n<p>There is an ice machine on the 8th floor. When you are on the floor you get off the elevator and make a left. It is the first room on the left.<\/p>\n<p>There are wall sconces and lamps included in the room.<\/p>\n<p>The nearest parking location to the Tower Hall Residences is the Hine Hall Parking Garage located adjacent to Tower and Hine Halls.
