As part of HILT\u2019s commitment to our participants, we encourage all attendees to be aware of accessibility and inclusion. To assist with that awareness, below are details on accessibility related to all official locations we will be using for the event.<\/p>\n

University Suites<\/strong><\/p>\n

All dormitory style housing for HILT 2020 is located in University Suites. University Suites is located at 1780 R St, Lincoln, NE 68508<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Conference Services is committed to providing appropriate accommodations to guests with disabilities. In order to ensure that appropriate arrangements can be made, guests with disabilities who need reasonable accommodation must contact the Director for Students with Disabilities at (402) 472-3787 at least three weeks prior to their scheduled arrival on campus. The guest should be prepared to tell that office the name of the event they are attending and the dates of attendance.<\/p>\n

Willa Cather Dining Complex<\/b><\/p>\n

All HILT attendees are expected to eat breakfast and lunch at the Willa Cather Dining Complex. Willa Cather Dining Complex is located at 530 N. 17th Street Lincoln, NE 68588. The Willa Cather Dining Complex is on the east side of campus, positioned on the east side of 17th Street between R St. and Vine St. There north and west entrances are wheelchair accessible. There is a centrally located elevator. The Willa Cather Dining Center is located on the second floor of the complex.<\/span><\/p>\n

Love Library<\/b><\/p>\n

Love Library will be a primary location for classrooms and coffee breaks. Love Library will also be the location of day one registration, HILT Community Ignite (pending), and the HILT Wrap Up Event (pending). The address of Love Library is 1318 R St, Lincoln, NE 68588. It is located on 13th and R St. Love Library is split into two attached buildings: Love Library North and Love Library South. Both Love Library North and Love Library South have doors on the north and south sides of the building, with a wheelchair access ramp on the southeast corner of Love Library South. Love Library South has a centrally located elevator with access to all main floors of the building. Love Library North and Love Library South are connected by an interior walkway on the second floor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Louise Pound Hall<\/b><\/p>\n

Louise Pound Hall is the other primary location for classrooms and coffee breaks. The address of Louise Pound Hall is 512 N 12th St, Lincoln, NE 68588. Louise Pound Hall is immediately west of Love Library. The north and east entrances are wheelchair accessible. There is a centrally located elevator.<\/span><\/p>\n

Van Brunt Visitors Center<\/b><\/p>\n

HILT Social will be held at the Van Brunt Visitors Center. The Van Brunt Visitors Center is located at 313 N 13th Street. The Van Brunt Visitors Center is south of Love Library South, between R & Q St. on 13th St. The east and west entrances are wheelchair accessible.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gender Neutral Restrooms<\/b><\/p>\n

Many buildings at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln have gender-neutral restrooms. There is a gender neutral restroom on the fourth floor of Love Library. The link below has a full list of gender neutral restrooms.<\/span><\/p>\n
