Sarah Patterson

Sarah Patterson teaches African American and women’s literature at University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She specializes in 19th c. African American literature, race and gender studies and digital humanities. A national faculty director with the Colored Conventions Project, Sarah is co-editing the forthcoming volume, Colored Conventions in the Nineteenth Century and the Digital Age.
