Katie Rawson

Director of Learning Innovation, University of Pennsylvania Libraries

Katie Rawson is Director of Learning Innovation at the University of Pennsylvania Libraries. She has a PhD from Emory’s Institute for the Liberal Arts. With Franky Abbott and Sarah Melton (among others), she published Southern Spaces; with Molly Des Jardin, she founded Word Lab; with Elliott Shore, she has written a global history of restaurants (forthcoming 2019); with Trevor Muñoz, she works on Curating Menus. Whether studying data model or tenth-century cooks, her research focuses on ways of knowing.
